Relationship builder, strategist and career student, Tara loves nothing more than learning and problem-solving, and that’s exactly what she does when it comes to your business. With a background in business consulting, marketing, advertising, and project coordinating, and a diverse education in Business Administration & Marketing, Tara’s the geek-with-social-skills. She launched Stand Out to break the norm for marketing and business development, moving away from the agency model to use relationships and high-level expertise to assemble the best possible team for every client and project, while taking all the work that entails off the client’s plate.

After living and working across Canada in some prime tourism locations, Tara decided to land back in Muskoka and focus on applying creative solutions to common problems experienced by these areas.

Never one to fade into the background, Tara’s passion is helping brands shine for what makes them different. She’ll build the plan, connect the dots, and hold the compass steady while you keep dreaming big.

With a background in Small Business Management from Humber College and experience as a small business owner, Kristi brings practical knowledge, strong customer service skills, and a sharp eye for detail to her role as Stand Out’s Marketing & Operations Coordinator.

Kristi is the person who notices the little things, keeps all the moving pieces moving, and makes sure nothing gets lost in the shuffle. Whether she’s managing digital ads or coordinating projects behind the scenes, she’s happiest when everything is organized, on track, and running smoothly.

A natural helper and organized thinker, Kristi is always ready to jump in wherever she’s needed. Her reliability, attention to detail, and ability to keep things moving make life easier for our clients—and help the entire Stand Out team do what they do best.

Western University marketing grad, social media management business owner, and lifetime local, Abby is an expert at spotting patterns, projecting trends, and adding context that countless spreadsheets miss. It takes more than being a “Google Warrior” to provide the type of insight we give to our clients, and Abby has the education, experience, and analytical skills to deliver nothing but the best.

Coming from a family of entrepreneurs and being an entrepreneur herself, Abby brings a unique perspective that other researchers and marketing professionals don’t, being able to put herself in the client’s shoes while using her specialization in consumer behaviour to deeply understand the client’s customers.

Abby’s research empowers business owners with confidence—no more guessing, no more anecdotal “my sister’s friend says”—just research-based clarity that informs brand direction, messaging, and growth initiatives.
If you’re local to the Muskoka area, you likely already know (and love) Rhonda.With 35 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and forecasting across many industries, Rhonda has some of the best experience and expertise in the game! What really makes her Stand Out is her dedication to deeply understanding the business owner. From goals to fears and everything in between, Rhonda cares and approaches everything she does with zero judgment, making her easy to trust your numbers with.

Owning a bookkeeping business herself, Rhonda lives the entrepreneur life and knows all about practicality, fluctuation, challenges, and unique situations that working in accounting and bookkeeping alone can’t give you insight into.
